Join BWS

Our membership levels include: 

• Active (Standard) Member: $35 annual dues for full participation. 

An Active (Standard) member has voting rights, may run and hold a club office, and serve on a committee. Active members may participate in meetings, shows (both physical and digital), and workshops at a membership price.

• Student Member: $15 annual dues for those enrolled in a recognized high school or university.

  • A student member can serve on a committee, but cannot hold office.  Student members may participate in meetings, shows (both physical and digital), and attend workshops at a membership price.

• Associate Member: $15 annual dues for any interested party who wishes to join BWS in a category other than Active or Student Member.

  • An associate member can attend program meetings and serve on a committee. They cannot make motions, vote, or hold office. An Associate Member may not enter works into shows, BWS galleries, and must pay non-member fees for workshops unless they upgrade their membership to Active.

• Family Member: $50 for two persons from the same household

  • A Family Member can be a spouse or family member living at the same residence. They will have the same status as an active member.

• Patron Member:

  • A patron member makes a monetary contribution to BWS to further the objectives of the organization. Please email info@bloomingtonwatercolor.org for more info.

• Lifetime Member: $300 one time

  • A lifetime member makes a $300 contribution to BWS and becomes an active member for life.

• Signature Member:

  • Members are admitted to “Signature” status after completing an application process and then having their works approved by a BWS selected jury.
