Carol Rhodes has been painting in watercolor for the past 12 years. She loves all visual arts. Painting time is precious to her, since she devotes more than full time hours to teaching and developing graphic design and Photoshop classes to Indiana University and the surrounding community.

Activities and interests

Carol is currently a computer graphic design instructor and training materials developer, as well as graphic designer for local businesses. During the past 10 years, her classes and workshops have included: Electronic Publishing for IU School of Journalism (graduate and undergraduate credit); Photoshop for IU School of Education (K-12 Education masters students); Visualizing Your Art Electronically, for IU Continuing Studies; and Photoshop and Scanning for IU Continuing Studies.

Carol has studied watercolor with Shelley Frederick and Sally Steele. She has also dabbled in pottery (using a wheel), hoping to eventually get the hang of painting designs onto ceramic surfaces.
